GENERAL DESIGN
FUNCTION
- Gravity Feeding without any scooping
- Gravity discharging, conveying speed usually below 1 m/s
- Very gentle conveying of sticky, hot or sensitive goods
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN:
- Parallel style with a pair of disks at the head end (PES)
- Parallel style with two pairs of disks at the head end (PZS)
- Triangular shape (D)
HOUSING:
HEAD SECTION:
- Divided hood for good maintenance
- External pillow blocks with spherical roller bearings
- Drive shaft passage with divided rotary shaft seals, packing glands, labyrinth seals, or similar
- Drive disks with guiding edges in cast iron rubber coated
- Various wear-resistant lining options
- Inspection hatches and suction fittings
ELEVATOR BOOT:
- Deflection pulleys made of cast iron or steel
- External pillow blocks with spherical roller bearings
- Inspection and/or cleaning hatches
- Belt tensioning with stainless steel tensioning spindles
- Various wear-resistant lining options
STEEL CORD BELTS:
- Rubber belts with steel cords, with glued holders or fastening grooves to mount the pockets
- Hot vulcanized belt connection

POCKETS MADE OF STEEL, RUBBER, PLASTIC:
- Steel/rubber: Side pieces made in carbon (or galv. CS) or stainless steel,
in bended & welded design with bolted-in rubber bottoms
- Full steel: Pockets made in carbon (or galv. CS) or stainless steel with pocket bottoms,
in bended & welded design with bolted-in steel bottoms
- Full rubber: Full rubber pockets with narrow fastening frame made in carbon steel
(or galv. CS) or stainless steel
- Plastic: Polyurethane (PU) with fastening elements made of carbon or stainless steel
DRIVE CONCEPTS:
- Directly driven with a clutch
- Directly driven with bevel geared drives (with hollow shaft)
- Each with integrated or separate/external backstop
INSTALLATION OR INSPECTION DOORS:
